Farewell to Woburn Walk: Open Studio Sale Weekend
To all friends old and new, and the wonderful people who have enjoyed this vibrant space with me over the years – It’s time to say farewell to my beautiful Bloomsbury studio in Woburn Walk.
Once the home of Ireland’s national poet W.B. Yeats, I feel privileged to have enjoyed five years of my working life at this very special location. I have had some extraordinary visitors to the studio, many of you inspirational artists, musicians, scholars, craftspeople , poets ….. every one has enriched my life.
To celebrate the closure of one era, and the beginning of exciting new journeys, I shall be holding open studio over the 12th, 13th and 14th August, 12 pm – 7pm.
Please join me for a drink, conversation, make cool drawings on the Iron Genie harmonograph, and maybe pick up a piece of art. I shall be selling some original etchings, digital prints, a painting or two, and the first batch of sample designs on silk inspired by Harmonograph Drawings. Below is a preview of some of the items. Please contact me if you would like to drop by.
- Lined silk stole, harmonograph print blue. £130
- Lined silk stole, harmonograph print grey/green. £130
- Silk harmonograph cushions. £45
- Harmonic Frequencies. Digital print, framed £435, unframed £275
- Nature’s Geometry. Digital print, framed £435, unframed £275
- Fractal Self-Similarity. Digital print, framed £435, unframed £275
Where next? I shall be taking up residence at Euroart, a vibrant community of the very best of contemporary artists in a studio complex run by artist Lorraine Clarke and her partner Nigel Young. I shall also be joining the Bodleian Libraries, Oxford, as a Visiting Fellow to study some wonderful Persian manuscripts.
Your work is gorgeous. A little bit of my envy goes with my best wishes because of your being in the presence of Persian art. It has inspired me greatly in my work as a scribe and as a water colour artist. Especially pleasing are the harmonographic works on silk. Bravo!

Dear Anita
I knew you were coming to Euroart – Lorraine told me – I’m there too in studio 31 (Unit 6). That’s exciting! Your Visiting Fellowship and other ventures sound inspiring. I love the fractal print I bought from you in 2012. I hope to visit during next weekend – probably Friday or Saturday. Looking forward to the next phase of your work (and mine!) Xx Stephanie
